Breastfeeding Information for Parents Online Module

Durham Region Health Department is pleased to announce the launch of Breastfeeding Information For Parents - a new online breastfeeding module. This module is designed to help mothers and families get fast and reliable breastfeeding information at their fingertips. 

Breastfeeding Information For Parents is interactive, fun, and easy to use! The module has answers to commonly asked breastfeeding questions and concerns such as:

  • How do I know my baby is getting enough breastmilk?
  • How do I know if my baby is latched on properly?
  • What do I do about sore nipples or breasts?
  • How do I get breastfeeding help in my community?

Breastfeeding Information For Parents has quizzes that allow you to test your breastfeeding knowledge, helpful diagrams, and videos that provide support for breastfeeding mothers and babies. There is a “Getting Help” section that links you with local breastfeeding help if you need more support or information. To access the resource click on the link
