(50 multiple choice questions, 70% required for a pass)
Please Note: It will take approximately three weeks for your exam to be processed and for certificates to be mailed out.

How to Register

  • Registration for any course is on a first come, first served basis.
  • Enrollment is limited to a maximum of 25 persons per seminar.
  • The Health Department reserves the right to cancel a session if there is insufficient enrolment (in which case a voucher will be administered to attend a course at a later date).
  • You can mail or deliver your completed registration form to the address below:

  • When mailing or delivering your registration do not forget to include your cheque or money order made payable to the Regional Municipality of Durham.
  • Upon registration and full payment, your course manual will be given to you at our office (delivered registration) or will be mailed to the address on your form (mailed registration).
  • All attempts should be made to read though the material prior to the course.

Complete and submit your registration form PDF and a cheque or money order made payable to the REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF DURHAM, or EXACT CHANGE or DEBIT.

  • Registration and payment must be made at least four weeks in advance prior to the seminar you wish to attend.
  • Upon registration and full payment, your course manual will be given to you at our office or will be mailed to the address on your registration form.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Due to limited space and course availability all course fees are non-refundable once a course session is booked and payment is received. However, if you are not able to attend your scheduled session and you provide a minimum 48 hours cancellation notice we can arrange upon request to put you on a waiting list for the next available session.
