Brief Contact Intervention (BCI) Training

Teachers are recognized as one of the most influential roles in a student's life. They are the Front line people who have the rapport and relationship to have the difficult conversation about quitting smoking with students.

Brief Contact Intervention (BCI) is a presentation offered by a Public Health Nurse for school staff. BCI is a tool that teachers can use to assist students to help them quit smoking. The presentation can be completed with any size of a group of teachers who would like to be prepared to assist their students in their efforts to quit smoking. Please contact your Public Health Nurse if you are interested in this presentation.
