20/20 is a campaign to help you reduce your home energy and automobile use by 20%.

There are two key campaign objectives:

  • lower energy and transportation costs for you;
  • reduce pollutants that contribute to poor air quality and climate change.

By focusing on some simple changes to reduce your energy use, you can help make a significant improvement to air quality in your community. The reason? Thousands of other residents will be participating in 20/20 as well – with more joining every day. Everyone reduces energy use. Everyone saves money. Everyone breathes a little easier.

The Durham Region Health Department invites you to take action to reduce air pollution in your community by participating in 20/20 The Way to Clean Air. The Durham Region Health Department is working with other health units across the Greater Toronto Area to bring you resources to help reduce your home energy use and vehicle use by 20 percent. By participating in the 20/20 program, you will save energy dollars and have a chance to win some great prizes.
