2012 West Nile Virus Surveillance Activities
The Health Department conducts active West Nile Virus (WNV) surveillance each year from May 1 to September 30. The program includes active surveillance for both larval and adult mosquitoes in conjunction with a larviciding program that targets standing water including (but not limited to) catch basins and storm water management ponds.
