Municipal water supply customers in the Town of Whitby may notice low water pressure during the ongoing firefighting activities.

As a precautionary measure, customers who experience low water pressure are asked to flush out their systems after the water pressure returns to normal—to do this, turn on a cold water tap only, and let it run for approximately five to 10 minutes.

Durham Region is committed to protecting the environment and providing clean, safe drinking water.
