Tickets are now on sale for the Durham Region Film Festival

WHITBY, ON August 15, 2016

Durham Region residents and visitors are reminded that the second-annual Durham Region Film Festival is quickly approaching and that festival passes and tickets are currently on sale through the Regent Theatre Box Office at https://tickets.regenttheatre.ca/eventperformances.asp?evt=326.  

WHEN:

Tickets are now on sale. The festival will run from Sept. 16 to 18, 2016.

WHERE:

The Durham Region Film Festival will take place at four locations in Durham—the Regent Theatre and Robert McLaughlin Gallery in Oshawa, the Docville movie set in Clarington, and the historic St. Francis Centre for Community, Arts and Culture in Ajax.

WHY:

The three-day festival aims to bring the magic of film on-screen and behind-the-scenes to local residents and visitors with an exciting line-up of films, a series of informative filmmaking workshops, and interactive activities.

NOTE:

More than 400 films were submitted to the 2016 Durham Region Film Festival. The 53 officially selected films to be screened are from 18 countries from all over the world. Seven of these are from Durham Region and 11 are from other areas in Canada.
