Lane restrictions at Simcoe Street/Conlin Road intersection

WHITBY, ON March 16, 2016

The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents of lane restrictions on Simcoe Street (Regional Road 2) and Conlin Road in Oshawa.

WHEN:

Work will begin the week of March 21, and is expected to be complete by the end of August. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

WHERE:

The intersection of Simcoe Street (Regional Road 2) and Conlin Road, as well as the intersection of Conlin Road and Founders Drive, in the City of Oshawa.

WHY:

Intersection improvement work includes watermain relocation, road widening, excavation, grading, curb and gutter work, paving, road resurfacing, storm sewers, traffic signals and street lighting.

NOTE:

The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and construction workers.
