Durham Agricultural Advisory Committee (DAAC)

Role and Purpose

The Durham Agricultural Advisory Committee (DAAC) is a volunteer advisory committee.

Council of the Region of Durham established DAAC to provide advice on agricultural and related rural matters. DAAC provides advice to Regional Planning Committee and staff on agricultural and related rural issues affecting Durham Region.

This Committee is comprised of members representing a diversity of agricultural expertise and experience who have knowledge of agriculture and related rural issues. Rural residents, who are non-farmers provide balanced viewpoints on rural issues. The activities of the Committee are guided by an approved Terms of Reference (PDF).
