Construction on Rossland Road in Oshawa

WHITBY, ON July 28, 2014

The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents and businesses that construction work will cause temporary lane restrictions on Rossland Road (Regional Road 2) in Oshawa.

WHEN:

Work began the week of July 28, and is expected to be complete by mid-August.

WHERE:

Rossland Road, from east of Simcoe Street to west of Ritson Road, in the City of Oshawa.

WHY:

Work includes road resurfacing and the replacement of deficient sections of curbs and gutters.

NOTE:

The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians and construction workers.
