Lane restrictions on Simcoe Street north of Raglan Road in Oshawa

WHITBY, ON August 16, 2016

The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents that construction will cause lane restrictions on Simcoe Street (Regional Road 2), from Raglan Road (Regional Road 5) to the Canadian Pacific Railway bridge.

WHEN:

Work begins the week of Aug. 22 and is expected to be complete by Sept. 2. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

WHERE:

Simcoe Street, from Raglan Road to the Canadian Pacific Railway bridge, in the City of Oshawa.
 

WHY:

Road repair work includes base asphalt replacement, surface asphalt, new pavement markings and shouldering.

NOTE:

The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and construction workers.
