Correction: New traffic signal at intersection of Regional Road 3/Darlington Concession 8 and Regional Road 57 in Clarington

WHITBY, ON August 25, 2016

The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Regional Road 3/Darlington Concession 8 and Regional Road 57 in the Municipality of Clarington.

WHEN:

The new traffic signal was activated today.

WHERE:

The intersection of Regional Road 3/Darlington Concession 8 and Regional Road 57, in Clarington. Vehicles on Regional Road 3 will be served on an “on demand” basis. This means that the traffic signal will remain green for vehicles travelling north or south on Regional Road 57, until a vehicle approaches from the east or west on Regional Road 3/Darlington Concession 8.

WHY:

The new traffic signal will allow motorists to move safely through the intersection with minimal delay.
