These back-to-back D's create the sphere that is the Durham region safely nested in an elegant tree representing strength and renewal for the growing community.

A tree also symbolizes how actions taken at this place, Durham Regional Headquarters, branch out in all directions, encircling and mindful of the entire Region!

The D's are laser cut from 3/16" stainless steel and all the details are laser cut negative and positive spaces to create the images within the sphere.

The tree is made from 1/4" stainless steel welded to a 4" stainless steel post.
