Drain After Rain! And Leave Mosquitoes High and Dry

houseMosquitoes lay their eggs in or around water that is stagnant, shallow and high in organic matter. Mosquitoes complete a four-stage development cycle, from egg to larva, pupa and then adult, in about 4 to 14 days. Standing water must remain stagnant for a minimum of 4 days in order to support the mosquito’s development. Elimination of potential mosquito breeding sites is the primary control measure used to reduce mosquito populations.
