Front-line Services

The Business Affairs and Financial Management Division provides support services to the Income and Employment Support Division and their Ontario Works clients. At each office, staff provides initial client contact through telephone and/or front reception services. Staff responds to an assortment of inquiries that arise from various sources.

Business Affairs and Financial Management staff recognizes that clients are their first priority, and they approach all people with dignity and respect. Front-line service staff makes every effort to meet clients’ requests or to redirect them, when possible, in a friendly and courteous manner. They listen carefully to recognize individuals with special needs or requests, in order to provide as many options as possible. Business Affairs and Financial Management staff is confident in their abilities to provide the most current information available, so that all customers view them as a trusted and reliable resource.
