ACSS Program Activities

  1. Client service: to provide services that respond to individual need and/or refer to other community resources as appropriate (e.g. employment, medical, housing, social, vocational, psychological or academic)

  2. Case management: to help with continuity and co-ordination of services, including follow up and information about service availability.

  3. Service co-ordination: to co-ordinate services and supports from other community agencies, as appropriate/required.

  4. Supportive Counselling: to help an individual client work through personal problems.

  5. Advocacy: to work with community agencies/services on an individual client's behalf. This helps to ensure that the client's rights are acknowledged, and they are able to benefit from available services.

  6. Other: assistance with money management and accessing required legal support.
