Olive Avenue (D.R.R. 59) - Oshawa - Intersection Closure
To facilitate paving operations at the intersection of Olive Avenue and Cadillac Avenue the intersection will be closed to traffic on Tuesday, May 28. Detour routes for both eastbound and westbound traffic will be posted.
Bayly/Victoria Street (D.R.R. 22) - Ajax/Whitby - Lane Restrictions
To facilitate road reconstruction and widening along Bayly/Victoria Street between Shoal Point Road and Halls Road lane restriction may be required during off-peak periods. Delays may be expected. Work commenced April 15th and is expected to continue until winter shut down in late December.
Bloor Street East (D.R.R. 22) - Oshawa - Lane Restrictions
To facilitate watermain replacement along Bloor Street East between Harmony Road South and Grandview Street lane restrictions may be required, expect delays. Work commenced March 4th and is expected to be completed by early to mid June although unfavourable weather and very wet ground conditions may impact work schedule.
King Street (Regional Highway 2) - Clarington - Lane Restrictions
To facilitate road rehabilitation and curb and gutter replacement between Prestonvale Road and Courtice Road, lane restrictions will be required, expect delays. Road work commenced April 15th and is expected to be completed by the end of May.
Ritson Road North (D.R.R. 16) - Oshawa - Lane Restrictions
To facilitate road rehabilitation and improvements between Highgate Avenue and a point 120 metres south of Taunton Road, lane restrictions will be required. Delays may be expected. Road work will commence April 22 and is expected to be completed by the middle of May.-1-13
Boundary Road (D.R.R. 20) - Clarington - Lane Restrictions
To facilitate replacement of deficient driveway and road crossing culverts, ditching and roadway base and asphalt replacement lane restrictions will be required, expect delays. Road work commenced April 29 and is expected to be completed by mid- June.
Cadillac Avenue - Oshawa - Road Closed (resident access only)
To facilitate watermain, sanitary sewer and asphalt replacement Cadillac Avenue has been closed to through traffic. Resident and emergency access is still available although the road is in a dirt (no asphalt) only condition. Work commenced April 15 and is expected to be completed by mid July. As part of this project there will be a full closure at the intersection of Cadillac Avenue and Vimy Avenue on May 7. There will be the access through this intersection during this time.
Consumers Drive/Champlain Avenue (D.R.R. 25) & Thickson Road South (D.R.R. 26) - Whitby - Lane restrictions
To facilitate intersection widening and road rehabilitation there will be lane restrictions along Thickson Road both north and south of the intersection as well as lane shifts along both Consumers Drive and Champlain Avenue. Roadwork is expected to be substantially completed by winter shut-down this year.
