Porcelain bathroom fixtures include but are not limited to toilets, sinks, and bath tubs.

Note - The Region of Durham does not collect these items in the City of Oshawa and Town of Whitby. Please contact your local municipality for more information or bring your material directly to the waste management facility (standard fees apply).

PLEASE NOTE: All tanks must be separated from bowls in order to be collected. This is due to weight issues for collection staff. Toilets should not be placed in cardboard boxes unless they are broken into smaller pieces.

There is no limit to the amount of porcelain materials you may set out for this diversion program. These materials will not be collected by the regular garbage truck. These items will be recycled.
