Whitby, Ontario – Residents are invited to attend the Durham Farm Connections Open House, an interactive way to learn about agriculture in Durham Region.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is currently updating the Region of Durham Agricultural Strategy 2013 to 2018 for the next five years (2019 to 2024) to ensure Durham’s agricultural program reflects the changing and diverse agriculture sector. Portion of Lakeview Park Avenue in Oshawa to be closed for two weeks

Whitby, Ontario – As part of ongoing construction work, a portion of Lakeview Park Avenue in Oshawa will be closed for two weeks.
When and where: Lakeview Park Avenue, from Birchcliffe Avenue to Kluane Avenue in the City of Oshawa, will be closed from March 25 to April 5. Construction and related lane restrictions will be ongoing until May.
Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Whitby, Ontario – Whether you’re spring cleaning, Marie Kondo-ing, or simply looking to clear some space in your garage, Durham Region’s Works Department is accepting good-quality, reusable items at the first Reuse Day event of 2019. Items will be donated to Habitat for Humanity ReStores (Ajax, Oshawa and Uxbridge locations), Diabetes Canada and the Salvation Army Thrift Store.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham’s Planning Division has released its Agriculture & Rural System Discussion Paper.
