Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of intermittent lane restrictions on Thickson Road (Regional Road 26) in Whitby.
When: Ongoing to August 31, 2020.
Where: Thickson Road North, from Dryden Boulevard to 100 metres north of Dryden Boulevard, in the Town of Whitby.
Why: Bridge construction on Dryden Boulevard to support new development.
Note: Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region’s Works Department advises residents that the Waste Management Call Centre has a new phone number: 905-697-5300.
When: September 30, 2019.
Note: The toll-free number will remain the same (1-800-667-5671). The call centre hours of operation will also remain the same (Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
