Get active this July with the Active Switch Challenge
Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is encouraging residents to get active this summer by participating in the Active Switch challenge—a 31-day competition to promote healthy and active living in Durham Region.
When: July 1 to 31, 2018
Where: Across Durham Region’s eight local area municipalities: Town of Ajax, Township of Brock, Municipality of Clarington, City of Oshawa, City of Pickering, Township of Scugog, Township of Uxbridge, and Town of Whitby.
Why: The Active Switch challenge encourages residents to use active and healthy travel options, and log their trips using the online Active Switch tool. Log a minimum of 20 active trips between July 1 and 31 for the chance to win a $1,000 Marlin Travel gift voucher! To get started using the Active Switch tool, visit activeswitch.ca/community.
