Port Perry residents asked to conserve water during the completion of a watermain connection
Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is asking residents using the Port Perry municipal water supply to practise additional water conservation efforts as the Works Department connects the recently installed watermain along Scugog Line 3. The new watermain will improve water supply for residents.
When: Thursday, November 24 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Residents should refrain from non-essential water use during this time. Once the work is completed, residents may return to normal water conservation efforts. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Port Perry in the Township of Scugog.
Why: Port Perry residents are being asked to conserve water during the connection of the recently installed watermain along Scugog Line 3.
