Who We Are

Family Services is Accredited and Registered:

Family Services is accredited by the Canadian Centre for Accreditation (CCA). It meets the certification requirements of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), and the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 registration. Family Services is a member of Family Service Ontario, Family Service Canada/Family Services Employee Assistance Programs (FSEAP), and the Employee Assistance Society of North America (EASNA).

In 2015 The Regional Municipality of Durham Social Services Department, of which Family Services is a Division, was awarded the Order of Excellence from Excellence Canada. This accomplishment is a result of staff engagement surveys, cross-divisional work groups, and a demonstration of positive service outcomes for our clients.
