In Durham Region, Pride isn't just a day-long celebration, a week of festivities, or a month of events. Local organizations are active year-round producing programming and events that support members of the 2SLGBTQI+ community and their allies. Durham is home to business owners who are committed to making their spaces safe and inclusive for staff and customers. At the regional level, there are resources available to promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive community.

Regardless of your gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation, you are welcome in Durham Region.

Administered by Canada's 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC), Rainbow Registered is an accreditation program for businesses that are committed to providing a safe, inclusive space for 2SLGBTQI+ people to visit, work, and feast. Businesses will be assessed based on their policies and practices, training, commitment to inclusive leadership, and culture of inclusivity, with those meeting the program standards being accredited and receiving access to a wide range of program benefits. Are you the next Rainbow Registered business?
