Visit Clarington's scenic countryside and historic downtowns.

Hike or bike the scenic waterfront trail or explore the exciting opportunities that await you in one of Clarington’s unique communities.

Archibald Orchards & Estate Winery is located just north of Bowmanville in the heart of Clarington’s countryside. Once you’ve arrived, taste the award winning fruit wines, pick-your-own apples or try some of their delicious baked goods.

From there, go up the road to Tyrone Mills, one of Canada’s oldest water-powered grist mills. Visitors can purchase fresh-baked apple cider donuts or freshly ground organic flour.

If it’s excitement you’re looking for, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is the leading racing and automotive performance facility in Canada, hosting series’ ranging from international sports cars to NASCAR on the renowned 3.957-kilometre Grand Prix track

Clarington boasts some of the best sport fishing on the north shore of Lake Ontario. The Municipality of Clarington has four tributaries that offer first-rate trout and salmon fishing: Bowmanville Creek, Soper Creek, Wilmot Creek and Graham Creek. Clarington also has access to Lake Ontario via Port Darlington, and the Port of Newcastle.

Art enthusiasts should put the Clarington Visual Arts Centre at the top of their list. Once home to an operating mill, the centre hosts a variety of both amateur and professional exhibits.

Make Clarington your family’s day-cation destination! Enjoy farm fresh produce and a corn maze at Pingles Farm Market or experience life at the zoo at Jungle Cat World!
