5 Must-Visit Fall Fairs In Durham Region

There’s no better time to experience Ontario’s rural life than at an annual fall fair. As summer turns to fall, Durham Region’s northern communities celebrate with the sweet smells of carnival food, gasp-worthy demo derbies, midway games and rides, and agricultural displays and activities. Check out this list of must-visit events just a short drive from downtown Toronto.
Port Perry Fair
Dates: August 30 to September 1 | Location: Port Perry Fairgrounds
Experience the adrenaline rush of a demolition derby at the annual Port Perry Fair! Don't miss fun carnival games, food truck eats, a beer tent and live music, as well as key events like the horse pulling competition, rodeo, truck and tractor pull, vintage tractor display and pet show! Orono Fall Fair

Uxbridge Fall Fair
Dates: September 5 to 7 | Location: Elgin Park, Uxbridge
Don’t miss the annual Uxbridge Fall Fair to enjoy a full weekend of fun. Hop on the midway rides, test your luck at the carnival games, watch the demolition derby, learn about farming at the agriculture tent, and enjoy live entertainment including musical guests, dancers, a comedian, and even The SuperDogs! Sunderland Fall Fair
Dates: September 9 to 10 | Location: Sunderland Brock Memorial Arena
The Sunderland Fall Fair has been a community tradition since 1851!Experience a variety of fair fun, including the heavy horse show, pedal tractor pull, the classic car and antique show, a beer tent, pet show, craft demonstrations, and more. Kids can enjoy the jumping castle adventure village, and families can stick around in the evening for adrenaline-fuelled demolition derby.
Beaverton Fall Fair
Dates: September 12 to 13 | Location: Beaverton-Thorah Community Centre Arena
Experience country vibes and carnival rides at the Beaverton Fair this fall!
