The Region of Durham’s Housing Services division would like to create a comprehensive set of guides to develop the capacity of community housing providers. The guides will include topics such as Good Governance, Financials, Capital Repair Planning and Asset Management, legislated requirements as a Community Housing Provider, and understanding Regional housing program administration. This project will involve researching best practices, reviewing practical guidance and legislation, and strategizing what providers need to know in order to be successful.
