Whether you’re gathering at the farm with family or friends, Durham Region has some a-maze-ing experiences for you to enjoy—from simple strolls through the corn stalks, to puzzling activations, to spooky corn maze experiences. If you love fall adventures, then Durham's corn mazes have you covered! Some of our farms have even been challenging us with their twisting and turning mazes over a decade. Check out this list of corn mazes across Durham Region and get outside to embrace the fall season!
Applewood Farm & Winery
September 19 to October 26 | 2055 Saintfield Road, Seagrave
Applewood Farm & Winery is home to the largest corn maze in Durham Region–40 acres to be exact! Yes, you read that right. You'll be sure to hit your step count goals in their 40-acre corn maze, before picking through the pumpkin patch and hitching a ride on the wagon. Enjoy a glass of local cider and live music on the patio, and experience all of the beautiful fall colours at the farm.
This September marks a quarter of a century and the cidery is still going strong! While you're there, be sure to wish the owners a very happy congratulations as they celebrate 25 years of crafting award-winning fruit wines, ciders, and meade. Plus, join the celebration by picking up a bottle of their limited edition 25th Anniversary Meade (while quantities last). The fall fun takes place every weekend this fall Friday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thanksgiving Monday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Brooks Farms
September 6 to October 26 | 122 Ashworth Road, Mount Albert
Experience all the magic of the season at Brooks Farms' Fall Fun Festival! Packed with wholesome farm-style thrills and family-friendly entertainment, the festival spans weekends across September and October and has become an annual must-visit! The farm has been hosting their fall festival for over a decade and it gets bigger and better every year! Navigate the corn maze, explore straw pyramids and jumps, or take a scenic wagon ride across the farm.
Meet farm animals, enjoy tire-horse swings, soar across the sky on the zip line, bounce on giant jumping pillows, and so much more. After you've made your way out of the maze, be sure to schedule in the pumpkin cannon show and sue-wee pig races, and meet special guests like superheroes to princesses to magicians! The festival runs on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., including Thanksgiving Monday.
Buzzing Bees Adventure Farm
September 13 to October 31 | 1070 Brock Concession Road 5, Sunderland
Located in the Township of Brock, Buzzing Bees Adventure Farm is bursting with family farm fun! This season, wander through the 10 acre corn maze to enjoy the Fairytale Corn Maze Crusade! Discover eight different villains, each with a unique puzzle to solve. If you can solve the crusade and find your way out of the maze, you'll have the chance to try your hand at removing the sword from the stone to wield it's power, and send the villains back to Fairytale Land!
The farm also includes a number of other family friendly activities like peddle karts, an elastic band shooting range, a toddler playground, slides, sandbox, field games and even rabbits and chickens to visit! Enjoy freshly popped kettle corn, and purchase Buzzing Bee's maple syrup, honey, jam and pumpkins to bring home. The farm is open Fridays from noon to 5 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays (including Thanksgiving Monday) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cooper's CSA Farm & Maze

Whether you’re in the mood to enjoy a crisp fall day strolling through the corn fields, or a spook-tacular evening with frightful fun, Cooper's Farm Fall Harvest Fest has it all! This 10-acre corn maze will take you through two phases that will each take you anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes to complete (depending on how good you are at getting lost!).
The festival runs Saturdays and Sundays (including Thanksgiving Monday) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. If visiting on a Saturday, be sure to purchase a dog pass and enjoy the maze with your pup. If you're up for a more frightful experience, you can visit Friday Night Maze Walks on weekends in October from 7 to 10 p.m.
Forsythe Family Farms
September 25 to October 31 | 1025 Cragg Road, Uxbridge
Bring your family for a day of fun at the farm or treat your significant other to a fall date at Forsythe Family Farms' October Harvest Festival! Get lost in the corn maze and get found found in the cedar maze, enjoy pick-your-own pumpkins, let the kids roam free at the playground, and make lasting memories with family and friends. Enjoy the farm in all its colorful fall glory. Walk the trails and surround yourself in the foliage, hop on the wagon for a ride across the farm, and meet and feed all of the friendly farm animals. Plus, don't forget to check out the fun and games in their upper paddock playground. Come October, the farm turns orange with pumpkins in the patch, pumpkins by the barn, and pumpkins all over the farm!
Plan ahead to enjoy special event days like the Storytime with Carolyn Morris on October 18 and 19, or the annual Apple Cider Pressing Day on October 26. Add fun to your fall with festive activities each October weekend! The farm fun runs Thursdays to Sundays, including Thanksgiving Monday, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Knox's Pumpkin Farm
September 27 to October 31 | 6325 Enfield Road, Hampton
Whether you’re planning a day out for the whole family, or looking for a fall date idea, there’s endless adventures for all ages at Knox's Pumpkin Farm 'Farmtastic' Fall Fun. Wander through the pick-your-own patch to find the perfect pumpkins, or jump on a wagon ride to explore the fields, and make your way through not one, but two, corn mazes!
Hop on a pony or horse ride and meet the friendliest farm animals, like alpacas, chickens, pigs, turkeys, goats and donkeys. There’s even a mini pig named Peppa who scoots around the farm greeting guests! Enter the Witch’s Lair or venture through the Boo Barn for some spooky fun. Grab a bite to eat or drink, and enjoy freshly baked goods like apple blossoms, kettle corn and candy apples from Grandma Jean’s Pantry. There’s nothing better than taking a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and making some memories down on the farm! Open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Linton's Farm Market
October 4 to 26 | 571 Raglan Road East, Oshawa
Get lost in one of two mazes at Linton's Farm Market and enjoy pick-your-own pumpkins, a play area, and more. There are endless fall activities for all ages to enjoy at the farm. Enjoy a stroll through the vibrant fall foliage, and bring the beauty back home with you when you purchase one of their gourd-geous porch packages.
Each general admission ticket includes a pumpkin and a visit to Linton's famous pumpkin house and corn maze! Before you go, don’t forget to pick up their delicious cream corn in the market. Keep an eye on their Facebook page, as the farm often has a delicious corn roaster for guests to enjoy! The market is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. U-pick pumpkin patch and corn maze are open in October on Saturdays and Sundays, including Thanksgiving Monday, from 10 a.m. to last entry at 3 p.m.
Nature's Bounty Farm
September 4 to October 31 | 651 Scugog Line 2, Port Perry
Join the fun at Nature's Bounty Farm—a picturesque orchard with 24 varieties of high-quality apples and pears, located on the rolling hills of the Oak Ridges Moraine in Scugog. Farmers Cathy and Marvin have been busy adding some new features to explore and enjoy around the farm this season. This year's fall fun includes a Minecraft themed corn maze. While you're there, trek out to the patch and pick your perfect pumpkins. Choose a pumpkin, any size, from the patch or pick one up from the market. Apples are available for picking from September 4 until the end of October.
The farm is open Wednesdays to Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., including Thanksgiving Monday.
Pingle's Farm Market
September 10 to October 31 | 1805 Taunton Road, Hampton
Get in the fall spirit wandering through the giant corn maze at Pingle's Farm Market Harvest Festival! Festival tickets offer access to the corn maze, pick-your-own pumpkins, the new animal barn, farm activities like basketball and billy bouncers, specialty food and drinks, and live entertainment. Hop on a wagon ride and get lost in the corn maze. The giant corn maze has two options, a full size trek or the mini maze for a short adventure. Pingle's also has 15 acres of orchards with more than 70 rows of apples and 10 different varieties. Apple season typically ends in early October, so be sure to head to the farm early in the season for apple picking!
The market is open for shopping seven days a week, while the festival runs Wednesdays to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays to Sundays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. If heading to the farm with your furry friend, just be sure to purchase a doggy ticket. Watson Farms
September 13 to October 31 | 2287 Durham Regional Highway 2, Bowmanville
Enjoy a scenic walk through the corn maze at Watson Farms PYO, or make it a fun family challenge to see who can find their way out first! This picture-perfect experience is a great opportunity for amazing family photos. The farm also has tractor rides, a petting zoo, the Watsonland play area, food stations and fun photo-opps for the ultimate fall farm day.
Watson's pick-your-own apples are available and the season typically ends in mid-October, while pick-your-own pumpkins are available throughout October. The farm also partners with the Clarington Firehouse for their annual Fright Night Experience—a fun and thrilling event for everyone to enjoy! Guests can enjoy the haunted corn maze experience from October 16 to 18. Watson Farms is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Willowtree Farm
October 4 to 26 | 975 Durham Regional Road 21, Port Perry
Test your skills and venture through the corn maze at Willowtree Farm's Pumpkin Palooza this fall! Wander through the corn stalks, take a wagon ride around the farm, enjoy pumpkin bowling and other games, and stop at one of the photo-opps to capture the perfect picture. With a mini corn maze that’s perfect for the kiddos, the farm truly has fun for all ages. Grab a coffee or fall favourite drink from the café, and perhaps a sweet treat, before hopping on a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch. Jump in the straw jump and soar a squash out of the pumpkin cannon. Enjoy the crisp, cool air and the changing colours of the leaves, and bring home a pumpkin for your porch.
The festival runs on Saturdays and Sundays, including Thanksgiving Monday, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets include admission to the pumpkin patch and corn maze, and a walk through the Spooky Story Forest. Pumpkins and cannon shots are additional. The market is open seven days a week to shop local produce, meats, baked goods, and fall drinks.
