A farm in the city: Durham College Urban Farm, Ajax
It’s not every day you find a working farm in the heart of the city. Durham College’s Urban Farm in Ajax is a hands-on, community-focused space where sustainability meets innovation.
How to ride |
Take DRT Route 216,or 916 if travelling from the east or west, to Rossland Road and Harwood Avenue. The farm is a short walk from the stop. |
Trip tip |
Visit on Thursdays from 2 to 5p.m. for their on-farm market to buy fresh produce. You can also meet the team, take a tour of the farm and chat about programming.
