Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is hosting a public information centre to engage with residents about plans to increase the amount of waste processed each year at the Durham York Energy Centre (DYEC) by 20,000 tonnes.

The Works Department is making cycling safer on our roads with Durham’s first cyclist detection device. The device has been installed at the intersection of Bonacord Drive and Cochrane Street in Whitby.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of a weekend road closure on Taunton Road (Regional Road 4), in the City of Pickering.
