Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department is lighting our Regional Headquarters in blue all week to celebrate Canada Water Week (March 17 to 23) and World Water Day (March 22).

Reuse Days are back; first event scheduled for March 23

Whitby, Ontario – Whether you’re spring cleaning, Marie Kondo-ing, or simply looking to clear some space in your garage, Durham Region’s Works Department is accepting good-quality, reusable items at the first Reuse Day event of 2019. Items will be donated to Habitat for Humanity ReStores (Ajax, Oshawa and Uxbridge locations), Diabetes Canada and the Salvation Army Thrift Store.
