Construction to close Ritson Road in north Oshawa

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents that construction will close Ritson Road (Regional Road 16), around Kedron Dells Golf Course in Oshawa, in stages until the end of November.
Where:
- Stage one: Ritson Road will be closed beginning this week, from the Kedron Dells Golf Course entrance to north of Given Road for approximately 11 weeks.

Lane restrictions on Kingston Road in Pickering

The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents of lane restrictions on Kingston Road (Durham Highway 2), from the Highway 401 on/off-ramp (located east of Whites Road) to Fairport Road, in Pickering.
WHEN:
June 5 to 16. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Line painting season in Durham Region

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents that roadway line painting is now underway, and drivers should exercise caution when approaching these vehicles.
When: Line painting season runs until October. Operations are typically underway on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. or overnight.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents and businesses that the underground repairs of the trunk sanitary sewer in Lord Elgin Park in the Town of Ajax are complete. The by-pass pumps have been decommissioned and are currently being prepared for removal. The sanitary sewer system in this area is back to normal operation.
