Region of Durham commits $13.25 million to build affordable rental housing

Whitby, Ontario – There is an urgent need for affordable rental housing. To help address this need, the Region of Durham is committing $13.25 million to support the construction of three affordable rental housing complexes.
This funding comes via the Region’s At Home Incentive Program (AHIP), which encourages the development of new affordable rental housing through funding and priority planning services.

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is inviting residents to help reimagine an empty lot at 350 Ritson Road South, in Oshawa.
