Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham, in partnership with the City of Pickering and Town of Whitby, is hosting a walk in recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 20 at 9:30 a.m.
The walk will begin at the Pathway to Reconciliation Crosswalk, located near the south entrance of Durham Regional Headquarters in Whitby (near Garden Street), and continue along Rossland Road to Fallingbrook Park, at the intersection of Rossland Road and Anderson Street.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Cameron Street West (Regional Road 12) in the community of Cannington in the Township of Brock.

Whitby, Ontario – Curbside Giveaway Day is back. Curbside Giveaway Day is an event organized in co-operation with the local area municipalities, where residents can place unwanted items in good condition—clearly marked as “Free”—on their curb for anyone to pick up.
