Project update on Conlin Road closure in Oshawa

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, in partnership with the City of Oshawa, is updating residents of an ongoing road closure on Conlin Road in Oshawa.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Taunton Road West in the City of Oshawa. 

When: September 28 to October 13. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Eastbound and westbound lane restrictions on Taunton Road West, from Airport Boulevard to 300 metres east of Airport Boulevard, in the City of Oshawa.

Why: To safely construct a new entrance and concrete median.

Lane restrictions on Thornton Road in Oshawa

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Thornton Road (Regional Road 52) in the City of Oshawa.

When: September 11 to 29. Unfavourable weather may influence the work schedule.

Where: Thornton Road, north of Stellar Drive to south of Gibb Street, in Oshawa.  

Why: To safely complete road resurfacing.

Note: Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents and businesses of upcoming lane restrictions on Simcoe Street South in the City of Oshawa.

When: September 11 to fall 2024. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: North and southbound lane restrictions will be in effect on Simcoe Street South, from Olive Avenue to Metcalfe Street, in the City of Oshawa. One lane of traffic will remain open.
