Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of night work on Simcoe Street North (Regional Road 2) in the City of Oshawa.
When: July 29 to Aug. 9. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Simcoe Street North, from 30 metres north of Robert street to Russet Avenue, in Oshawa.
Why: Road resurfacing.

Whitby, Ontario – On Saturday, July 20, an external electrical power trip and subsequent recovery procedures led to an exceedance of the four-hour rolling average limit for carbon monoxide (CO) at the Durham York Energy Centre (DYEC).
