Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents that Winchester Road East (Regional Road 3) will be closed between Thickson Road and Anderson Street next weekend.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents of lane restrictions on Bayly Street (Regional Road 22) in Pickering, as Canadian National Railway Company (CN) completes track repairs at the rail crossing.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham would like to remind municipal election candidates that in accordance with the Region’s Temporary Sign By-law No. 76-2017, all signs must be removed within 48 hours following the election (by the evening of Wednesday, October 24). A copy of the Temporary Sign By-Law Number 76-2017 is available online at durham.ca/SignBylaw.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham would like to notify residents that mail delivery may be delayed due to the rotating labour disruption involving Canada Post.
When: Effective Monday, October 22.
Where: The rotating labour disruption may impact mail delivery throughout the region.
Why: During the rotating labour disruption, Canada Post will continue to deliver mail. The Region will send out mail as usual, such as water and sanitary sewer bills, TeleRead cards, and cheques, etc.
