Lane restrictions on Bloor Street West in Oshawa

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Bloor Street West (Regional Road 22) in the City of Oshawa.
When: October 17 to December 17. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.
Where: Eastbound and westbound lane restrictions will take place on Bloor Street West, from east of Thornton Road South to Stevenson Road South (Regional Road 53), in Oshawa.

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham will conduct its annual test of the nuclear public alerting system on October 29 and 30. The system is designed to warn people in the unlikely event of an emergency at the nuclear-generating stations in Clarington or Pickering.

Oshawa and Brock waste management facilities (WMF) will be temporarily closed to the public to accommodate the installation of new scales.
Oshawa WMF, located at 1640 Ritson Road North in Oshawa, will be closed from October 19 to 24, reopening on October 25 at 8 a.m. Brock WMF, located at C22480 Brock Sideroad #17 in Brock, will be closed from October 31 to November 4, reopening on November 5 at 8 a.m.
