2026 Region of Durham Business Plans and Budgets

Durham Regional Council will consider the proposed 2026 Property Tax Supported Business Plans and Budget, and the Water Supply and Sanitary Sewerage Business Plans and Budget, including the 2026 water and sanitary sewer user rates and other related fees and charges, at the following Committee meeting:

Special Committee of the Whole Meeting

Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 9:30 a.m.; and
Friday, December 12, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. (if required)

Durham Regional Council will then consider the proposed 2026 Property Tax Supported Business Plans and Budget, and the Water Supply and Sanitary Sewerage Business Plans and Budget, including the water and sanitary sewer user rates and other related fees and charges, at the following Council meeting:

Comments from the public are welcome. To submit written comments to the Special Committee of the Whole meeting, contact the Legislative Services Division by email at clerks@durham.ca or by telephone at 311 (within Regional limits) no later than noon on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

If you wish to make a delegation before the Special Committee of the Whole meeting, submit your request in writing to delegations@durham.ca no later than noon on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Members of the public who register in advance of the meeting will be provided with the details on how to delegate electronically or in-person.

Interested members of the public can view the Committee and Council meeting via live stream by visiting the Region’s live streaming site.

The 2026 Property Tax Supported Business Plans and Budget and Water Supply and Sanitary Sewerage Business Plans and Budget will be available on Friday, December 5, 2025 at durham.ca or upon request by telephone at  311.
