Whitby, Ontario – Every great business starts with a spark. Do It In Durham Entrepreneurship Week is where that spark ignites something extraordinary. 

Coordinated by the Business Advisory Centre Durham (BACD), registration is now open for this celebration of entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic growth in Durham Region. From November 17 to 21, choose from more than 30 sessions offered online and in person. 

Do It In Durham Entrepreneurship Week features dynamic workshops and practical sessions to sharpen your skills, and powerful connections to the people, tools and networks that move your business forward. Whether launching a startup, growing a business, or exploring new ideas, this is a chance to learn, grow, and thrive with Durham’s business support organizations, educational institutions and networking groups. 

Do It In Durham Entrepreneurship Week officially starts with a flag raising at the Region of Durham Headquarters on November 17 and the kickoff celebration event is at Town Brewery in Whitby from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. New this year is the Business Summit on November 20, co-hosted by Ajax Pickering Board of Trade, Clarington Board of Trade, Whitby Chamber of Commerce and Oshawa Chamber of Commerce. This full-day conference will dive into sustainable investments, tech-driven growth and resilient supply chains. It also features a public expo showcasing cutting-edge innovations.

Do It In Durham, Durham Region’s Entrepreneurship Week is part of Global Entrepreneurship Week which is marked in over 200 countries. In Durham Region, this event is supported by premier sponsors BACD, City of Oshawa, Invest Clarington, and Invest Whitby, and the partner and community sponsors include Invest Durham, Invest Pickering, Invest Pickering, Town of Ajax, Brilliant Catalyst at Ontario Tech University and Spark Centre.
