Help inform the Ritson School Project’s public spaces through an online survey

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is seeking input from residents on the public spaces incorporated into the Ritson School Project.

What: By filling out the online survey, you will help inform the publicly accessible open spaces at the Ritson School Project site.

When: August 1 to September 11.

Where: The online survey will be available at durham.ca/RitsonSchool.

Why: The Region of Durham purchased the former elementary school, located at 300 Ritson Road South, Oshawa, from the Durham District School Board. This property is an opportunity to help meet the current and future needs of residents through affordable and market-rent housing, and community programming.

Note: The Ritson School Project virtual community engagement session was held July 31. Once available, the recording of the session will be added to durham.ca/RitsonSchool for those interested in learning more about the project.
