Lane restrictions on Durham Regional Highway 2 in Courtice

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Durham Regional Highway 2 in the Municipality of Clarington’s community of Courtice.

When: August 18 to December 16. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: East and westbound lane restrictions will take place on Durham Regional Highway 2 from 100 metres west of Prestonvale Road to 100 metres west of Trulls Road in Courtice.  

Why: To safely install a sanitary sewer and services in support of development.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
