Road closure on Church Street in the Town of Ajax

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is advising residents of an upcoming road closure on Church Street (Regional Road 24) in the Town of Ajax, as part of the ongoing watermain construction on Taunton Road West (Regional Road 4).

When: Road closure will be in place from October 27 to 31. Entire project is anticipated for completion by June 2026. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Road closure will be in place on Church Street, between Taunton Road and Rossland Road, in Ajax. Access for local traffic onto Church Street will remain open from Rossland Road only. Access onto Church Street from Taunton Road will be closed.
