Road closure on Liberty Street North in Bowmanville

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is advising residents of an upcoming road closure on Liberty Street North (Regional Road 14) in Bowmanville.

When: April 28 to July 30. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Liberty Street North, from Pamela Court to Sydel Court, in the community of Bowmanville in the Municipality of Clarington.

Why: The road closure is in place for the construction of two new watermains. Traffic will be detoured for the duration of the work. Detour notices will be in place. For more details, please visit durham.ca/LibertyStreetWatermain.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
