Road closure on Whites Road in the City of Pickering

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is advising residents of a road closure on Whites Road (Regional Road 38) in the City of Pickering.

When: April 22 to 23. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Road closure will be in place on Whites Road, from Taunton Road (Regional Road 4) to Finch Avenue (Regional Road 27), in the City of Pickering.  

Why: To allow for the repair of railroad tracks at the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Southern (CPKC) Railway crossing.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
