Storm Update: Brock Township Emergency April 9, 2025

The Township of Brock declared a State of Emergency and The Region of Durham continues to assist with responding to damage from freezing rain and ice accumulation from recent storms. Residents are encouraged to contact their insurance providers to see if storm-related expenses and losses are covered.

Community support and emergency centre closure
The emergency centre at the Beaverton Royal Canadian Legion is now closed. We extend our thanks for the community for its support, with over 500 meals served.

Waste management and yard waste collection
Residents are encouraged to visit our webpage for more information on our Waste Management Facilities and leaf and yard waste collection.
