Upcoming lane restrictions on Bayly Street in Ajax

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Bayly Street (Regional Road 22) in the Town of Ajax.   

Where: Bayly Street, at the intersection of Bayly Street and Church Street South and from 200 metres west to 500 metres east of Church Street South, in Ajax.

When: April 14 to June 30. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Why: To create a centre median island on Bayly Street, lengthen the eastbound and westbound right-turn lanes and complete boulevard work.  

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
