Upcoming road closure on Riverside Drive in Ajax

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a road closure on Riverside Drive in Ajax.

Where: Riverside Drive, from Rossland Road West to Delaney Drive in the Town of Ajax. Access will still be available to Riverside Golf Club from the south.

When: September 29 to October 10. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Why: To service five lots along Riverside Drive and support development. The road closure will help increase safety for road users, pedestrians and work crews.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
