Upcoming road closures on Anderson Street in Whitby

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of upcoming road closures on Anderson Street in the Town of Whitby.  

When and where: On Friday, November 14, Anderson Street will be closed for one day from Rossland Road East to Taunton Road East in Whitby.

On Monday, November 17, Anderson Street will then be closed for one day from Taunton Road East to Conlin Road in Whitby.

Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Why: To safely complete road paving operations.

Note: Local traffic will still have access during the closures. Detour routes will be signed in advance.

The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
