The Regional Municipality of Durham is proposing to reconstruct Concession Road 7 (Regional Road 1) from 200 metres south of Sandford Road (Regional Road 11) to 400 metres north of Ashworth Road, and from 100 metres south of Foster Drive to Harrison Drive, in the Township of Uxbridge (Contract D2024-18)

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham would like to remind Oshawa and Whitby residents of changes to the scheduled curbside waste and recycling collection due to the Victoria Day holiday on Monday, May 20.
When: Monday, May 20 to Saturday, May 25.

Health Department urges everyone to take precautions against tick bites
Whitby, Ontario – May is National Lyme Disease Awareness Month. Durham Region Health Department reminds everyone that blacklegged ticks are widespread across Durham Region, especially in forested or grassy/brushy areas, and the importance of taking precautions to avoid tick bites which could lead to Lyme disease infections.
